LITTLE INCA SQUISHY MUFFIN RECIPE
You want your babies and toddlers to grow up without sugar as much as possible? Sweets or cakes are taboo, but sometimes you do want to give them a little snack for in between or let them share the coffee table with the older ones? That’s what the Little Inca Muffins are perfect for: Super easy and super quick to make, practical, healthy and delicious. Sounds too good to be true? Try it out or develop your own exciting quinoa-based food innovations.
For today’s recipe we used two Little Inca Happy Orange pouches (2x100g). These pouches contains almost 50% vegetables and provides just the right amount of fibre for healthy tummies and slow-release carbohydrates. It has 9% quinoa puree, one of the most nutritious grains in the world, carrot, sweet potato, orange, apple and mango.

Vegan muffin:
If you want the muffin to remain vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free, just like our pouches, the following recipe is a good choice: Mix 200g of gluten-free flour with a packet of baking powder and then add the two Little Inca Happy Orange pouches. Mix well until you have a creamy batter. Grease the muffin tin with vegetable fat and preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Then divide the muffin batter between about 6 muffin tins, smooth out and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
Gourmet muffin:
This recipe can of course be refined further, for slightly older children feel free to add maybe more fruits like strawberries, blueberries The rest is up to your culinary imagination, as you can add fruit, little cinnamon to suit your taste. Depending on the ingredients and the type of flour, the quantities can vary a little, just rely on your feeling.
